Pengerang Energy Complex Sdn. Bhd (PEC) is a Malaysia based project owner and operator which is developing one of the largest and most competitive Aromatics complex in the world, to be strategically located within the Pengerang Integrated Petroleum Complex (PIPC) in Johor, Malaysia.

The project will be developed by ChemOne Group, a leading energy and petrochemicals project developer based in Singapore. Along with its strategic partners, ChemOne will develop, build, and operate one of the most energy and resource efficient Aromatics plant in the world, to be located on dedicated land responsibly sourced by Malaysian State entities.

The PEC Complex is being developed fully in accordance with IFC Standards and in compliance with Equator Principles 4 (EP4), with downstream green energy development intended to create a sustainable energy hub for Malaysia.

The complex will also be well connected with existing logistic infrastructure. With strong development background and strategic blue-chip partners, PEC aims to cater to the growing fuel-related commodities across the growing regional Asian market.
